Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him break into mainstream Latin music. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina that year. Later, in 2021, he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a musical household both his parents have been musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. He began playing the guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was when he was a child. He initially wanted to be a vet, but after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend singing lessons from the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his the direction of his career.
